12 drone distribution centers will be established in Nigeria

Zipline is preparing to significantly expand its medical logistics network in Nigeria and plans to establish 12 additional drone distribution centers across the country by 2028. The company currently operates 3 centers.
Since the start of its operations in the country in 2022, the company has provided support to more than 1,300 medical institutions in Kaduna, Cross River and Bayelsa states. After the expansion of the network, Zipline plans to provide medicines to 20,000 medical institutions and reach almost 100 million Nigerians.
Zipline is a logistics company that uses artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles, automated inventory tracking and order fulfillment systems in real time.
In addition to healthcare, Zipline is exploring the possibilities of applying its logistics infrastructure to industries such as agriculture, veterinary services, e-commerce, and broader supply chains.
